FDA Approved Epoxy Resin - 1:1 by Volume 472ml Kit ALUMILITE for Tumblers, Plates and Serving Board

This epoxy works great, super clear even when used on glassware, only a little heat to remove any bubbles. I use almost straight away with out thickening and it levels perfectly without dropping off. Dries overnight in the cold, and completely hardens within 24 hours also in the cold.

I used this epoxy as a carrying medium for gold mica powder in an attempt to make food-safe kintsugi (japanese gold-line patched broken pottery). It would probably be excellent for a self-leveling application, but it is quite runny for the use I was trying to put it to. It did work after leaving it to set for about an hour to thicken, but it wasn't ideal. That is likely mostly because it wasn't quite the intended use. Lovely and clear though! And not inclined to bubble much when stirred initially (it did bubble when stirred after it started to thicken of course).

This resin is a lot thicker than others and has lots of bubbles but it is food safe and does turn out really well.
